To receive a Holiday Gems Certificate you must spend a
minimum $500 on ticketed price items (that is, the advertised
price, not a discounted price) in-store in the same transaction at
your participating Showcase Jewellers store.
How do I use my Holiday Gems Certificate?
Each Holiday Gems Certificate can be applied as a partial
payment towards the cost of accommodation in rooms and apartments
at participating hotels and resorts. Accommodation rates and the
maximum eligible Rewards per booking are detailed in this
website.
What is resort availability like? What about school
holidays?
Availability of accommodation and other rewards are more
readily available outside school holidays, public holidays, peak
seasons and special events, and exclusions or surcharges may apply

your holiday preferences for up-to-date resort availability and
recommendations. All requested booking dates are subject to
promotion availability.

merchandise from is participating in the promotion.
How long is the Showcase Holiday Gems Promotion available
for?
This is a limited promotion offer and is subject to
withdrawal without notice so make sure you get into your Showcase
Jewellers store without delay and secure a Holiday Gems
Certificate.
What does 'Best Flexible Rate' mean in the accommodation
price charts?
RewardsCorp offers resorts
and holidays at competitive rates before applying your rewards
towards your chosen holiday. If you find, at the time of booking, a
lower 'flexible rate' than the published 'Best Flexible Rate' for
the same booking - we will reduce the amount of rewards required to
complete your booking by the equivalent
amount.
When are the Holiday Gems Certificates valid
to?
Each Reward Certificate is valid for 24 months from the
issue date on the front of the Certificate. However, all
accommodation must be booked within 18 months from the Issue date
on the front of the Holiday Gems Certificate.
How do I find out more about the resorts?
Our reservations consultants can answer your questions on
aspects of each resort, and the suitability of various resorts to
your particular accommodation and holiday requirements. All
accommodation enquiries must be made through RewardsCorp on 1300

Are there resorts in any other holiday destinations other
than those featured in this website?
New destinations and properties are continually being
added to the Holiday Gems collection. Email reservations@rewardscorp.com

How do I book a holiday?

with your preferred resort(s) and holiday dates
and RewardsCorp will be able to confirm your booking, or advise the
closest available dates. Alternatively, you can book online 24/7
through the website.
Do I receive written confirmation of my
booking?
Yes, you will receive a Resort Accommodation Voucher
confirming your Booking Number, relevant details of your holiday
booking, resort arrival instructions, confirmation of the Holiday
Gems used and the balance of the accommodation charges paid by you,
your original Holiday Gems serial number(s), and any other booking
particulars requested by you.
What if I don't have enough value on my Certificate to
make up the maximum redeemable amount by Holiday Gems? Can I pay
the difference in cash?
Yes you can, however, why not return and purchase
additional merchandise at your participating Showcase Jewellers
store and receive another Holiday Gems Certificate?
When do I pay the balance of my accommodation
booking?
Your accommodation payment is required upon confirmation
of your requested resort accommodation and booking dates. This is
the amount set out in the accommodation price chart for each
property - less the maximum redeemable Holiday Gems which is
applied at this time.
What Payment Methods are available?
Payment can be made by cheque, money order, bank transfer
or with the following credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, BankCard
(1.5% surcharge), Diners Club and American Express (3% surcharge).
With payment by cheque, bookings can only be made upon receipt of
cleared funds.
Will I be charged if I cancel or amend my
booking?
Should you cancel your accommodation booking after full
payment is made, no refund applies. However, you can amend your
booking dates for your selected resort as often as you require up
to 35 days prior to your booked arrival date for a processing fee
of $25, and you can also transfer your accommodation booking to
another party, without penalty or incurring amendment fees, only
name amendments will be permitted within 35 days of arrival at your
booked resort. No cancellations or amendments are permitted for
"Last minute specials". At the sole discretion of RewardsCorp, and
subject to the booked resort and the specific room inventory being
utilised for another booking, cancellations and date changes may be
permitted within 35 days prior to your booked arrival date, subject
to a $100 fee.
How soon should I book my holiday?
To avoid disappointment we recommend that you book your
holiday as soon as you have decided on your preferred hotel or
resort and holiday dates. While there are a substantial number of
hotel and resort options available for the Showcase Holiday Gems
Promotion, a number of the participating properties are very
popular. Although we strongly advise against leaving your booking
as late as possible, we will accept bookings with a minimum 21 days
booking notice required. Bookings will only be accepted within 21
days notice at the discretion of RewardsCorp.
Will I get a lesser hotel or resort room or apartment
than if I was paying the normal price?
Absolutely not. This is a practise sometimes adopted by
independent resorts where you will then be offered a standard room
and an option to pay for an upgrade. With Showcase Holiday Gems
your booking is processed by RewardsCorp through a computerised
live link with its resorts. As such it is not possible for
personnel at each resort to determine whether you are paying full
rate or a heavily subsidised rate. In any event it is most resorts'
guest check-in policy to provide the best rooms to arriving guests
- and not to leave the best rooms vacant.
What if my Showcase Holiday Gems Certificate is lost or
stolen?
You should treat your Showcase Holiday Gems Certificate as
you would cash - as each Certificate represents $500 - $3000
savings off the accommodation cost of a hotel or resort holiday. So
please keep a record of the serial number on your Holiday Gems
Certificate and keep it in a safe place, and separately to your
Certificate, in case they are lost or stolen.
Do I need to keep my Resort Cheque after I have made my
bookings?
Your Holiday Gems carries a unique serial number which is
recorded on your online account at the time of booking. While you
will not be required to present your Resort Cheque to the resort at
the time of checking in, we recommend you keep it as a record of
your booking(s) and you may wish to quote your serial number by
phone to our reservations consultants when making your
bookings.
